ABOUT US
What We Do
Corporate Retirement Plan Services:
We provide customized retirement plan consulting to service businesses with at least $2,000,000 in annual payroll and 20 or more employees.
Every client relationship includes three primary components: plan design, investment menu selection, and participant education. Solutions are designed to align with our clients’ business objectives, support employee engagement, and ease related administrative obligations.
We begin each engagement by conducting a 401(k) Plan Review. This process allows our advisors to "benchmark" the features and components of the existing 401(k) plan and identify opportunities for improvement.
Our Approach
As fiduciaries, we approach our work with our clients’ best interests in mind. The principles of expertise, service, and loyalty are also foundational to our practice.
Our Story
Originally founded in 2004 as an investment advisory firm, Oakbourne Advisors now serves clients across the country.
Our team comprises a range of seasoned financial services professionals. Many of us have familial ties to Chester County and each team member has years of experience in comprehensive retirement planning for small- to medium-sized companies, 401k plan management, client service, and more.
ABOUT US
Our Name
West Chester’s Oakbourne Park, with its wooded trails, gardens, recreational fields, and historical mansion, has been a community resource and a special part of residents’ lives for centuries. Many of our team members spent time at Oakbourne as children and we wanted our firm name to reflect that shared history. Like the park, we serve as a trusted resource to our community and beyond, so the name seemed a perfect fit.
We’re also proud supporters of the Friends of Oakbourne, a nonprofit organization that assists Westtown Township in caring for, improving, and enhancing the park.
